Prior to founding LaGrey, Mike held positions with Deloitte, Rehmann, and Charter Capital Partners where he worked closely with lower middle market clients on tax matters, financial modeling, performance solutions and M&A advisory services. He has also held numerous leadership positions in portfolio companies having led several successful turn arounds. From 2007 – 2019, Mike acquired a commercial landscape business in which he increased revenue by 6 times through subsequent acquisitions. After selling the company in 2019, Mike led a turnaround effort for a private equity owned services business wherein he was able to stabilize and develop its management team, implement an operating framework to support its 300 employees and grew its revenues by 51% over an 18 month period.

In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and son, being a dad, cooking with friends, staying in shape, watching movies,  and eating at amazing restaurants. He also dabbles in design and architecture projects for himself and close friends.
